Call for Expression of Interest to select financial intermediaries to implement financial instruments under the Holding Fund Mazovia and the Holding Fund Silesia in the Mazovia and Silesia Voivodeships/Poland
As part of the programmes: European Funds for Mazovia 2021-2027 (“EFM 2021-27”) and European Funds for Silesia 2021-2027 (“EFS 2021-27”), and for the purpose of tackling the market failures identified in the respective ex-ante market assessments for the use of Financial Instruments in the 2021-2027 period (“Ex-ante Assessment”), the Board of the Mazovia Voivodeship, acting as the EFM 2021-27 Managing Authority, and the Board of the Silesia Voivodeship, acting as the EFS 2021-27 Managing Authority, have dedicated resources to implement the Holding Fund (“HF”) Mazovia and the HF Silesia, respectively, managed by the European Investment Bank (“EIB”) in accordance with Article 59(3)(a) of the Common Provisions Regulation (“CPR”) and the provisions of funding agreements signed between the EIB and the EFM 2021-27 Managing Authority and the EFS 2021-27 Managing Authority, respectively (the “Funding Agreements”). The HFs are co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (“ERDF”) and national funds.Relevant rules for implementing the Financial Instruments (“FIs”) are primarily stipulated in the CPR, the ERDF Regulation and applicable national law and regulations.
