- Desired three phase distribution transformers will be with aluminum windings. The transformers described above are required in accordance with the ECO Design phase II standard (European Commission Regulation NO 548/2014 of 21 May 2014) relating to the implementation of the directive2009/125/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to low, medium and large power transformers. The maximum losses are included in phase 2 (July 1, 2021) of the regulations.
