- In January 2025, the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works (MMTP) launched Luxmobil 2025, the survey of travel with residents of Luxembourg. The objective of this survey is to update knowledge of mobility behavior, in order to provide public authorities with datanecessary for understanding and planning mobility and travel. Indeed, the substantial improvement of the transport offer in Luxembourg since the last survey of 2017 (implementation of the tram, new P+R, of the reorganization of the RGTR ...) and the succession of largeEvents of recent years (covid, free public transport) have emerged from new behaviors, and undoubtedly modified certain others, so that it becomes necessary to measure these changes (use of telework, increased use of cycling and public transport ...). AsThe previous 2017 survey, Luxmobil 2025 is cross -border. The border workers resident in France were questioned about their mobility by the French authorities through the northern Lorraine investigation between September 2024 and April 2025. To encompass all the border economic actors,And therefore benefit from complete and essential data, in particular for the development of the PNM2040, the MMTP now wishes to investigate border workers residing in the border fringes in Belgium and in the border fringe in Germany.
