Description : The overall objective of DESIREE programme is to foster sustainable and inclusive socio-economic growth in selected partner countries and develop sustainable business models for the provision of clean, climate-friendly and energy efficient solutions. The programme will support the development of an enabling environment, will implement capacity building support and technical assistance to key actors and provide blended finance to support innovative business models and realize sustainable investments with private sector participation. The programme will contribute to energy savings, improved access to clean energy, job creation, improve health and education outcomes, raise productivity, reduce indoor and outdoor air pollution and promote financial inclusion. The programme intends to demonstrate innovative or sustainable approaches, which can be scaled-up or replicated elsewhere.
The purpose of this contract is to support the EIB secretariat in managing DESIREE.
