Description: The Luxembourg State represented for this market by the Directorate of Health aims to acquire, for the year 2021 renewable in 2022, medicinal cannabis in order to implement the law of 20.7.2018 amending the amended law of 19.2 .1973 concerning the sale of drug substances and the fight against drug addiction, entered into force on 5.8.2018. This allows the medical use of cannabis in exceptional and limited cases and on prescription by a doctor for the benefit of certain specific categories of patients ("Medicinal Cannabis Service").
